FAQ

Questions, in short

Prices, the 24-hour check, the $1.99 extra day, and who can see your street. How Yardly works.

For customers

What do I pay?

You pay the job price. There is no extra fee. On a $50.00 job, you pay $50.00 and the provider receives $46.25. You are not charged when you post. This preview does not charge a real card.

How long do I have to approve the work?

You have 24 hours after the provider marks the job finished. Approve it if it looks right. If you report a problem, the clock pauses. If the 24 hours pass with no reply, the payout is recorded.

Can I get more time to look?

Yes. Add one day for $1.99. You can add up to two days. The price is shown before you confirm. It does not change what the provider receives.

Will providers see my street address?

No, not on the job card. They see the neighborhood or town, the ZIP, the lawn size in acres, the price, and a rough map pin. The street and the lawn outline are shown only to the person who accepts your job.

For providers

What do I receive?

The job price after Yardly's 7.5% fee. On a $50.00 job, you receive $46.25. On a $35.00 snow job, you receive $32.37. The customer pays the job price, with no extra fee.

What is the small fee on a quiet month?

If you complete fewer than 3 jobs in a month, a small fee of up to about $1.24 covers payment processing. For example, one $30 job adds about $1.24, taken from your next payout, not from a card. Members are exempt.

When am I paid?

After the customer approves the finished work, or 24 hours after you mark it finished if they don't reply. A problem report pauses that clock. The payout is taken from the job payment. A card is not charged for the quiet-month fee.

When do I see the street?

After you accept and the job payment is recorded. Then you also see the lawn outline on the satellite view, if the customer saved one. Other providers never see the street. The job card stays a rough area and the size in acres.
